Adopt Me Rarity Guide
Adopt Me sorts pets into six tiers. The tier decides how often a pet hatches from an egg and, together with supply, how much it is worth in trades.
Common
The easiest pets to hatch. Great for beginners and for building trading stock.
Uncommon
Slightly lower hatch chance. Usually traded in bundles rather than one for one.
Rare
Noticeably harder to hatch and the first tier where pets hold steady value.
Ultra-Rare
Low hatch chance. Retired ultra-rares climb in value once their egg leaves the game.
Legendary
The lowest hatch chance in each egg. Most high-demand trading pets live here.
Event / Limited
Released only during an event. Once the event ends, supply is fixed forever.

Does rarity equal value?
Not always. Value comes from demand and supply together. A Legendary that is still hatchable can be worth less than a retired Ultra-Rare that nobody can obtain any more. Always compare recent trade offers before accepting.
